William Matthew Kremer

William Matthew Kremer, 84, of High Point, passed away Sunday, August 9, 2026, at Westchester Manor.

He was born February 15, 1942, in Greenville, SC, to the late Caulie Kremer and the late Lucy Kremer.

Mr. Kremer was a member of the High Point Lions Club, serving as the club secretary for over 30 years, obtaining numerous awards from state and national levels. He was a member of Oakview Baptist Church and loved singing in the Senior Adult choir. He enjoyed traveling and dancing and singing. He graduated with his bachelor’s degree from Furman University.

He served in the United States Army, and he retired from Leggett and Platt in the drafting department.

Left to cherish his memory; his sisters, Martha Wilkinson and husband Lewis, Judy Medlock, and Betty Tharpe; and a host of extended family and friends.

Funeral service will be 2:00PM Tuesday, August 18, 2026, in the High Point chapel of Wright Funerals-Cremations with Rev. Steve Smith officiating.

Burial will follow in the Floral Garden Memorial Cemetery.

The family will receive friends 1:00-1:45PM prior to the service.
