Wes Smith, Jr.

Wesley Cassel Smith, Jr., 39, of Trinity, passed away Friday, October 2, 2020, at Wake Forest Baptist Hospital.

Born May 21, 1981, in Mecklenburg, County, he was a son of Wesley Smith, Sr. (Kathy) of Gastonia and Cathy Wilson Turner (Dale) of Trinity.

Wes is survived by his wife, Clarissa Smith of Trinity; son, Jordan Smith of Asheboro; daughter, Brianna Smith of Archdale; step-son, Trenton Poole of Trinity; step-daughter, Brooklyn Bowman of Trinity; grandparents, Norma Kidd of High Point, Rob and Melba Turner of Trinity; brothers, Jason Turner of Trinity, and Tyler Turner of Oregon; and sister, Carol Smith of Trinity.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, James Kidd.

Memorial services will be conducted at 2:00 PM Friday, October 9, 2020, at The Well in Thomasville with Rev. Huey Turner officiating.
