Wayne Wingard

Linton Wayne Wingard, 71, of High Point, passed away Monday, March 14, 2022, at High Point Medical Center.

Born January 26, 1951, in Kittanning, Pennsylvania, he was a son of the late Nevin Wayne Wingard and the late Erma Harkleroad Wingard. Wayne loved his life, family, cooking, baking, playing golf, wood-crafting, and was very enthusiastic about cars. During his illness, he never complained and always had a smile for everyone.

He is survived by his wife, Patricia Heavener Wingard of the home; sons, Linton Wingard of Gastonia, Michael Wingard and wife Michelle of Greenville, SC, Nicholas Chastain of San Francisco, CA and Robb Huddleston of Palm Springs, CA; daughters, Connie Huddleston and Petra Fugger both of Salisbury; sister, Yvonne Wingard (Michael Ruddell) of Dayton, OH; several grandchildren..

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Roger Wingard.

Memorial service will be conducted at 2:00PM Saturday, March 26, 2022 at St. Christopher Episcopal Church, 303 Eastchester Dr, High Point, NC  27265.
