Wayne Curtis Thompson

Wayne Curtis Thompson, 76, of High Point, passed away Thursday, April 3, 2025, at his home.

Born October 8, 1948,in Guilford County, he was a son of the late Grady Thompson and the late Willie Thompson.  Wayne was a retired painter for Decorative Sales and Service.  He was deeply loved by his family and enjoyed fishing, woodworking, and gardening.

His greatest love was spending time with his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Left to cherish his memories, his beloved wife of fifty-one years, Brenda Thompson of the home; sons, Todd Thompson and Danny Thompson (Cat); daughters, Penny Kimes (Kenny) and Suzanne Bugg; fourteen grandchildren; and eleven great grandchildren.

Memorial service will be conducted at 2:00 PM Sunday, April 6, 2025, in the High Point Chapel of Wright Funerals-Cremations.

The family will visit with friends following the service.
