Warren Edward Hamilton, Sr., 81, of High Point, passed away Tuesday, September 11, 2018, at Hospice Home at High Point.

Born March 10, 1937, in Hartford, Connecticut, he was a son of the late Harold Hamilton and the late Ruth Johnson Hamilton.

Mr. Hamilton is survived by his wife, Mary Jo Young Hamilton of the home; son, Warren Hamilton, Jr. and wife Susan of Greenville, SC; daughters, Deborah Gebbie and husband David of Asheville, and Cheryl Hudson and husband Bruce of Mt. Gilead; brother, Steve Hamilton and wife Floy of Connecticut; grandchildren, Matthew Gebbie and wife Allie, Nathan Hudson and wife Tracy, Clay Hudson, Jessica Hamilton, Sarah Hamilton, and Heather Manly and husband Chance.

Memorial services will be conducted at 2:00 PM Saturday, September 22, 2018, at First United Methodist Church with Rev. John Fitzgerald and Rev. Milton Young officiating.

The family will receive friends after the service.
