Virginia Sue (Wall Clark) Abshire

Virginia Sue Wall Clark Abshire, 70, of Thomasville, passed away Monday, October 23, 2023, at Autum Care in Salisbury.

Born September 7, 1953, in Guilford County, she was a daughter of the late Wilbur Wall and the late Nancy Croker Hagar. Virginia was formerly employed by Caroway Furniture. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother who enjoyed music and feeding her birds.

Virginia is survived by her husband of twenty-five years, William Edward Abshire of the home; daughters, Misti Clark (Ted), and Amanda Clark (Sam); stepdaughter, Tina Britt (Tim); brother, Samuel Wall (Debbie); grandchildren, Natalee Clark, Allyson Summey, Rhianna Summey, Austin Detar, Haley Britt, and Matthew Manning.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Gary Clark; and her sister, Gail Murray.

Memorial services will be conducted at 3:00 PM Sunday, October 29, 2023, in the High Point Chapel of Wright Funerals-Cremations with Rev. Rodney Hedrick and Rev. Randy Ingram officiating.

The family will receive friends following the service.
