Virginia Kathryn Thomas Lloyd, 80, of Stonehaven Rd., passed away Saturday, September 24, 2016 at Hospice Home at High Point.

Born September 5, 1936 in Rocky Mount, she was the daughter of the late James Allious Thomas and the late Mollie Hattie Eason Thomas. Mrs. Lloyd was a homemaker and a loving wife and mother.

She is survived by her husband of fifty-six years, Robert Gordon Lloyd of the home; daughter, Robin Upton of Kernersville; son, Robert Lloyd, III and wife Sandra of CO; grandchildren, Nathaniel Upton, Geoffrey Upton, Thomas Lloyd, and Amber Lloyd.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brother, James Thomas. Jr.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM Wednesday, September 28, 2016 in the Gathering Room of Wright Cremation & Funeral Service. Burial will be in Salisbury National Cemetery.
