Vickie Lynn Spencer

Vickie Lynn Spencer, 69, of Trinity, passed away on December 18, 2020 at Wake Forest Medical Center of High Point.

Vickie was born in High Point, NC to Ruby Arlene Brookshire and Grayson L. Spencer Sr. on August 8, 1951. She received her RN degree in nursing at Guilford Technical Institute now known as GTCC in 1977. She later would continue her education at High Point University. She served as a registered nurse for over 40 years. She loved to go shopping when time would allow. Her favorite places were Ollies and Walmart. She also enjoyed going to the beach and taking care of her pets.

Vickie is preceded in death by her mother Ruby Arlene Brookshire, her father Grayson L. Spencer Sr., and her brother Grayson “Pete” Spencer Jr.

Vickie is survived by her son Rodney Foley and wife Tracy, her son by previous marriage Todd Foley, her sisters Alice Lee Scott and Betty Carter and husband Von, her grandchildren Levi Foley and wife Christina, and Dawson Foley, her aunts Linda Canter and husband Floyd Cromer, Becky Outen and husband Phil, and Ina Mae Ambrose, her uncle Ray Brookshire, she also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
