Vickie Samuels Hogue, 65, of Archdale, passed away Sunday, February 2, 2020, at her home.

Born August 1, 1954, in Guilford County, she was a daughter of the late Loyston Francis Samuels, Jr. and the late Allie Robbins Samuels. Mrs. Hogue was an administrative assistant at Guilford Technical Community College and a member of Hope Chapel Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband Henry Hogue of the home; son, Kevin Reid and wife Kimberly of Stuttgart, Germany; stepson, Chad Hogue of Asheboro; brothers, Tommy Samuels and wife Ann of Greensboro, and Larry Samuels of Jamestown; sisters, Frankie Morgan and husband Larry of High Point, Linda Wishon of Archdale, and Becky McMahan and husband Jerry of High Point; and seven grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Margaret Ann Samuels.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM Thursday, February 6, 2020, at Hope Chapel Baptist Church with Rev. Joe Bare and Rev. Wendell Herring, Jr. officiating.

The family will receive friends following the service.
