Vickie Lynn (Flowers) Kovach

Vickie Lynn Flowers Kovach, 66, of Franklinville, passed away Wednesday, September 13, 2023, at Moses Cone Hospital.

Born May 4, 1957, in Jacksonville, NC, she was a daughter of the late Robert Wise and the late Carolyn Flowers.  Vickie was a credit manager for Hendrix Batting.  Her strong talents were, being on time, strong willed, managed money well, great sense of humor, very loving, family oriented and a cancer fighter.  Vickie was also an Elvis and Lucille Ball fan.

She is survived by her husband Dan Groman; daughter, Melissa K. Cobb (Jack) of Franklinville; brothers, Bud Laster of Burlington and Larry Flowers of Greensboro; sisters, Gayle Holbrook of Greensboro and Dawn Teixeira of Austin, Texas; grandchildren, Victoria Cobb of Colorado, Jackie Cobb of Greensboro, and Jackson Cobb of Franklinville; and great granddaughter, Sophia Rodriguez.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Carla Sue Wise, and grandparents, Mr. & Mrs. George C. Flowers.

Memorial services will be conducted at 10:00 AM Saturday, September 16, 2023, in the chapel of Wright Funerals-Cremations, High Point.
