Vallie "Val" Jeanette (Chavis) Perry

Vallie “Val” Jeanette Chavis Perry, 85, of Thomasville, passed away Monday, January 6, 2025, at her home.

She was born August 28, 1939, in Franklin, NC, to the late Eugene Chavis and the late Grace Rogers Chavis. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert “Bob” Perry and her granddaughter, Jawaidhi Cox.

Left to cherish her memory; her daughter, Somiko Cogman; grandchildren, Ikisha Cox, Haashim Cox, Zarri Cox and Kuma Cox, along with 6 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.

Graveside services will be private in the Guil-Rand Memorial Park Cemetery.
