Uncle Ed Tate

Edwin Lee Tate, 91, of Trinity, passed away Friday, November 8, 2024, at his home.

Born July 11, 1933, in Marion County, IN, he was a son to the late William Woodrow Tate and the late Rosemary Catherine Donahue Ellis.

He is survived by his nieces, Melissa Osborne (Chris) of Sophia and Michelle Beckley (Greg) of Indiana; nephew, Bradley Tate (Ginny) of Ohio; great nieces and nephews, Austin Osborne and wife Katie, Kyle Bartley and wife Lindsey, Julianne Kirchmer and husband Matt, Will Tate and wife Katie, Haley Spurlock and husband Blake, Alyssa Bartley, and Ethan Tate.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, William Joseph Tate.

No formal services are planned at this time.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of the Piedmont.
