Tyler Lemuel Thomas, 24, of Macedonia Rd, passed away Saturday, October 10, 2015 at UNC Hospital, Chapel Hill.

Born August 29, 1991 in Asheville, he was the son of Eddie and Linda Case Thomas. Tyler was a 2009 graduate of East Henderson High School where he played football. Tyler enjoyed playing bass guitar with the praise band at Living Water. Tyler had a true passion for sports, especially football, and he loved coaching the West Midgets Youth Football Team. Tyler had the biggest heart for people, and there was nothing he loved more than spending time with his family, friends, and love of his life, Brittany.

He is survived by his wife, Brittany Greer Thomas; parents, Eddie and Linda Thomas; sister, Stephanie Pace (Ethan); aunts, Joyce Biddix, Joyce Hill, Brenda Johnson (Harold) and Billie Maybin (Bill); uncles, John Biddix, Jerry Barnwell and Brentley Thomas; grandmother, Joy Askew; father-in-law, Randy Greer; mother-in-law, Annette Foster.

Tyler was predeceased by his maternal grandmother, Edith Parris Case; paternal grandparents; Walter and Susie Thomas; aunt, Sharon Barnwell; uncles, Thomas Case and Bruce Thomas.

Funeral services will be conducted at 3:00 PM Wednesday, October 14, 2015 at Living Water Church with Rev. Tony Birkhead and Rev. Keith Hannon officiating. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends from 12:30 PM until 2:45 PM Wednesday prior to the service at the church.
