Tracie Lynn Hildebrand

Raxena (Tracie) Lynn Griggs Hildebrand, 49, of Thomasville, passed away Monday, February 14, 2022.

Born October 28, 1972, in Old Fort, NC, she was a daughter to Martha Batten Griggs of Smithfield and the late Ralph Griggs.  Tracie was a homemaker.  She loved the beach, country music and was a die hard Steelers fan. Tracie loved her fur babies, Cracky and Rocco. She was referred to as T Ma by her granddaughter.

She is survived by her husband, Russell Hildebrand of the home; son, Alexander Griggs of Winston Salem; sisters, Beackie Pettigrew of Dunn, NC; Sharon Prince (Walter) of Durham, NC; Patsy Stanley (Donald) of Selma, NC; Mary Ann Griggs of Smithfield, NC; Kathy Simmons of Dunn, NC; and granddaughter Lilyanna Griggs and her mother, Lindsey Jones.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by a brother, Ray Griggs and a sister, June Peacock.

Memorial Services will be conducted at 2:00 PM Wednesday, February 23, 2022, in the chapel of Wright Funerals-Cremations with Matt Strader officiating.

The family will receive friends after the service in the reception room for refreshments.
