Towanda Laverne Simons Emmons, 97, of High Point, passed away Wednesday, May 29, 2024, at Brookdale Memory Care.
Born October 22, 1926, in Alliance, Ohio, she was a daughter of the late Shafter Simons and the late Wilma White Simons. Towanda was a homemaker.
She is survived by her sons, Lee Emmons and wife Gay of Wallburg, and Del Emmons and wife Melanie of Arizona; daughter, Donna Solo of Texas; brother, Merlin Simons of Nevada, many grandchildren, and many great-grandchildren.
Memorial services will be private.
