Tony Edward Larkins

Tony Edward Larkins, Jr, 88, of High Point, passed away Wednesday, June 10, 2020, at Hospice Home at High Point.

Born November 11, 1931, in Birmingham, AL, he was a son of the late Tony Edward Larkins, and the late Nellie Waddey Larkins.  Tony was the owner of Larkins Paint Company in High Point, a member of Green Street Baptist Church, and a US Navy veteran.

He is survived by his wife of 69 years Emily Fleming Larkins of the home; sons, Terry Larkins (Kathy) of High Point and Rick Larkins (Bess) of Inman, SC; brother Ronnie Larkins of High Point; grandchildren, Kelly Larkins (Maggie), Ryan Larkins (Meggan), Adam Larkins, Andrew Larkins (Ginni), and Emily Larkins; great grandchildren, Nathaniel Larkins and Reagan Larkins.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM Saturday, June 13, 2020 in the chapel of Wright Funerals-Cremations with Rev. Frank Hensley and Rev. Mike Ester officiating.  Private family burial will be at Mountain View Cemetery in Danville, VA.

The family will receive friends following the service.
