Tommy Quinn Burkhart

Tommy Quinn Burkhart, 66, of Trinity, passed away, Saturday, December 2, 2023, at his home.

Born November 15, 1957, in Knox County, Tennessee, he was a son of the late Tom Alvin Burkhart and the late Edna Mae Vanbebber Hunley. Tommy was a US Air Force veteran and was a man of few words with a big heart. He was an avid Diet Coke drinker, loved deep sea fishing, and was a man of integrity. He was family centered and his children affectionately nicknamed him “Boy”.

Tommy is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Ann Jacobs Burkhart of the home; daughters that he chose to love and affectionately called, Goober 1 and Goober 2, Pamela Anders and husband John of Trinity, and Denise Myers and husband Joseph of Thomasville; brothers, Dwayne Burkhart and wife Janet of Knoxville, TN, and Jerry Burkhart of Knoxville, TN; grandchildren, John Anders and wife Courtney of Thomasville, Joseph Anders and wife Gabrielle of High Point, Jordan Kestner and husband Alex of Lexington, and Jessica Dean and husband Hunter of Lexington; great-grandchildren, Wyatt Anders, Emmeline Anders, Lincoln Anders, Simeon Anders, and Deacon Anders; and dog Bella.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his stepfather, Bill Hunley.

Memorial services will be conducted at 2:00 PM Thursday, December 7, 2023, at New Day Fellowship, 211 Swathmore Ave. High Point.The family will receive friends following the service.
