Tito Grossi, 92, of Thomasville, passed away Thursday, January 8, 2026, at his home.
Born May 21, 1933, in Parma, Italy, he was the son of the late Geminio Grossi and the late Maria Quintavalla. Tito worked for Rena-Ware as a salesman. He loved to cook and was a very healthy eater, but was the happiest when people were around eating and enjoying his cooking. Tito loved listening to music with Frank Sinatra and Luciano Pavarotti being his favorites. Tito was also an avid walker who loved the tropical climate of Venezuela but the most fun was the family outings to parks and Krispy Kreme.
He is survived by his wife of sixty-two years, Virginia Grossi of the home; son, Geminio Grossi of Toronto, Canada; daughters, Maria Paguada of the home and Rosa Fowler (Tim) of Tempe, Arizona; sister, Isa Busani of Parma, Italy; grandchildren, Sofia Haltom (Andrew), Marco Paguada (Kaitlyn), Boris (Sarah), Bruce, Samuel, Mary Margaret, John, Catherine, and Elizabeth; and six great grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brother, Elio Grossi and sister, Ida Grossi.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted at 1:00 PM Wednesday, January 14, 2026, at Our Lady of the Highway Catholic Church with Father Gabriel Carvajal officiating. Burial will follow at Holly Hill Cemetery.
The family will visit with friends from 6:00 PM until 7:30 PM Tuesday, January 13, 2026, at Wright Funerals-Cremations High Point.
