Thomas (Tommy) Allen Sullivan, 76, a resident of Thomasville, NC, passed away on February 25, 2017, at Hinkle Hospice House.

He was born on July 29, 1940, in Davidson County to the late Thomas Wade Sullivan, Sr. and Esther Qualls Sullivan and was of the Methodist faith. He was owner of Zach Hosiery, a builder of beautiful homes and had a talent for fixing anything; nothing was too small or large from a clock to rebuilding a tractor.  He enjoyed fishing and hunting with his son and grandchildren. He was a simple man that enjoyed being alone outside to do his thinking and enjoy God’s creation that brought him much comfort.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Jacqueline (Jackie) Wall Sullivan on February 20, 2017; a daughter, Tonya Robbins; a brother, Thomas Wade Sullivan, Jr.; and sister, Mary Ellen Sullivan.  He is survived by a son, Tony Allen Sullivan and wife, Diana of Thomasville; step-sons, Ronnie Russell of Atlanta, GA; Marty Russell of Thomasville, NC; step-daughters, Missy Russell of Wilmington, NC; Wendy Russell of Winston-Salem, NC; grandchildren, Luke Sullivan and Brady Sullivan of Thomasville, NC; Zach Haney of Centerville, MD, and Lauren Haney Moir of Statesville, NC; step-grandchildren, Hayden Russell of Atlanta, GA; Tanner Russell of Thomasville, NC; brother, Billy Wayne Sullivan and wife, Nancy of Thomasville, NC; sister, Betty Clinard and husband, Jerry of Clemmons, NC; and Yoda his very special dog.

A private memorial service will take place at the family property in Saltville, VA.
