Thomas William Pruitt

Thomas William Pruitt, 84, of Trinity, North Carolina passed away on Thursday, October 8, 2020 in Thomasville, North Carolina.

Thomas was born in Asheville, North Carolina to C.R. and Nannie Loudy Pruitt on December 15, 1935.  He was married to Dorothy Arthur on May 15, 1971 in Chesterfield, South Carolina. He worked as a foreman for Snow Lumber Company for many years.  He was a member of Life Tabernacle Pentecostal Church for 48 years. He loved spending time with his family and telling a good joke. Thomas also enjoyed leather working and making custom picture frames.

Thomas is preceded in death by his wife Dorothy Pruitt; parents, C.R. and Nannie Pruitt; four brothers; three sisters; and a granddaughter.

Thomas is survived by sons, Michael Potter (Shelia) and Roger Potter (Angela); daughter, Kathy Poupore, his grandchildren Christopher, Joshua, Jordan, Jaired, Rebekah, Emily, Amanda, Angela Michelle, and Ashley (Deceased), also his 9 great-grandchildren and 2 great great-grandchildren.

A Memorial Service will be held at 6pm November 8, 2020 at Life Tabernacle Pentecostal Church located at 10508 North Main Street, Archdale, NC 27263. Bishop Bryan Adkins and Pastor Barton Adkins will be officiating.
