Thomas Gentry Jones, 77, of Archdale, passed away Sunday, March 5, 2017, at his home.
Born March 13, 1940, in Guilford County, he was a son of the late Robert Jones and the late Lelia Boulding Jones. Mr. Jones was a veteran of the US Marines and retired from Piedmont Natural Gas.
He is survived by his wife Jeanie Clodfelter Jones of the home, step-children, Brian Cook and wife Ivie of Greensboro and Ginger Cook of Las Vegas; three step-grandsons and three step -granddaughters.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Rodney Jones; brothers, Bobby Jones and Bill Jones.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 7:30 PM Friday, March 10, 2017, at Wright Cremation & Funeral Service.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Guilford County Animal Shelter or Hospice of the Piedmont.
