Theresa Lourie Carter

Theresa Lourie Carter, 64, of Randleman, passed away Tuesday, July 11, 2023, at High Point Medical Center.

Born December 12, 1958, in Wilmington, she was a daughter of the late Gordon Tyndall Carter and the late June Theresa Parker Carter. Her beloved dog, Katie, gave her so much joy and companionship like no other. Theresa persevered through extreme physical challenges and circumstances but always kept a bright outlook. She made dear lifelong friendships with Lou, Pam, Toni, Krista, Penny, Patricia, and newfound sisters, Gina and Marla. Her giving spirit, sense of humor, love of people and animals were only second to her love of the Lord. Theresa touched many lives and although we are all missing her daily, we are rejoicing that her body has been made whole again.

Theresa is survived by her brother, Jeff Carter of Wilmington; sisters, Janice Carter of Wilmington, and Gina Isaacs of Morganton; and special nieces, nephews, and friends who loved her so much.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Tommy Carter.

Memorial services will be conducted at 3:30 PM Saturday, July 15, 2023, in the High Point Chapel of Wright Funerals-Cremations with Pastor Billy Myers officiating.

The family will receive friends following the service.
