Terry (Rod) Allen Baker, 58, of Thomasville passed away Monday, May 8, 2017, at High Point Regional Hospital.

Born July 17, 1958, in Guilford County, he was a son of John H. Baker of Thomasville, and Elizabeth Ann Anderson Baker of Archdale. Mr. Baker graduated from Trinity High School in 1977 and was a member of Pilot View Baptist Church. He was a cloth cutter and a professional drummer with Billy Crash Craddock.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his son, Gary Baker and wife Chasity of FL; brother, James Baker and wife Loretta of Thomasville; grandchildren, Skylar, Breckin, and Riggin; niece, Savannah Troxler; and nephew, Jacob Troxler.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM Saturday, May 13, 2017, at Pilot View Baptist Church with Rev. Robert Summers and Rev. Keith Lyons officiating. Burial will follow in Holly Hill Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 7:30 PM Friday at Wright Cremation & Funeral Service.

The family will be at the home of his brother, James Baker, 4615 NC Hwy. 62, Thomasville.
