Terri Valinda (Levy) Morris

Terri Valinda (Levy) Morris went home to be with the Lord on May 28, 2016 with her family by her side.

Terri is survived by her husband, Chester Morris of Neptune, NJ; four children Anthony, Alisha, Amber and Angela. Five grandchildren, Akaila, Ava, Miley, Mulan, and Marley; father, William Vance Levy and paternal aunt, Barbara Levy, both of Atlanta, GA; her brother, William Vincent Levy and sister-in-law, Teresa, and their children, Rachel and Erica of Winston-Salem, NC; two maternal aunts, Francine A. Lawrence (Douglas) of Las Vegas, NV and Sharon H. Terry of Van Nuys, CA; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Terri is preceded in death by her mother, Rachel “Butch” Ellen Terry Levy of Tinton Falls, NJ and her maternal grandparents, Frank and Edith Ann Terry all formerly of Tinton Falls, N.J., and paternal grandmother, Evelyn Levy and paternal grandfather, William Levy of New York.

Terri was born on December 23, 1962 in Long Branch, NJ to William Vance and Rachel Ellen Levy. She attended Tinton Falls public schools and graduated from Monmouth Regional High School in 1982. Terri held a management position at Annie Sez clothing store in Red Bank, NJ for over 20 years.

Terri enjoyed spending time with her family. She enjoyed preparing home cooked meals and sharing her heart through them.   Throughout her childhood Terri loved spending time on the Jersey shore and hosting barbecues and small gatherings.

Terri’s disposition was quiet with a loving spirit. She was a devoted, supportive mother, and endearing grandmother. She was always full of grace, patience and love.

Throughout her illness Terri kept a positive outlook and approached her condition with strength as she remained steadfast.

A memorial service will be held at a future date at Day's Funeral Home in Red Bank, New Jersey. All that loved Terri are welcome to attend the service to celebrate her life and home going. The repast will be held in a private location for immediate family members. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to Hospice of the Piedmont, 1801 Westchester Drive, High Point, N.C. 27262 or your local Hospice Center.  Prayerfully consider volunteering in your local hospice center or church so that you may be a blessing to others in honor of Terri. Thank you, to all of the friends and family that supported us through this time.
