Taylor B. Brim Jr., of Winston-Salem, North Carolina, was born December 10, 1959, to the late Arlene Huff Brim and Taylor Bausie Brim Sr. He passed away on Friday, October 16, 2026, at Hospice of High Point in High Point, North Carolina.
Taylor was a proud graduate of East Forsyth in Winston-Salem. He was a man of many hobbies and interests, especially his love of bikes and working on small machines. He enjoyed keeping busy, figuring out how things worked, and repairing things with his hands. One of the special parts of Taylor’s life was the time he spent with his mother, Arlene, searching for a good thrift-store find. Those shared outings were more than just shopping; they were moments spent together that became part of the story of his life. To his family, Taylor was a brother, an uncle, and a loved one who will be missed. His nieces always called him “Bubba,” a nickname we later discovered he didn't particularly care for. Still, it remains a personal family memory that brings a smile and reflects the familiar bonds that make family relationships so special.
He leaves to cherish his memory are his two sisters, Wanda Gail Brim and Elizabeth Jane Brim; his niece LeeAnn Loggins Keen and her husband, James Christopher Keen, and their daughter, Baylee Verabeth Keen; his niece Stefanie Michelle Gravely (Tony Carter); a precious Aunt Hilda Blue Huff, and his special family, Jackie and Henry Hinson who held a place in his life and heart.
A memorial service will be conducted at 11:00 AM Friday, October 23, 2026, in the High Point Chapel of Wright Funerals-Cremations with Rev. David Perry officiating. Burial will be private.
The family will receive friends following the service.
The family would like to extend their sincere gratitude to the staff and nursing team at Hospice of High Point for the care, compassion, and kindness they provided to Taylor during his time there. Your support and dedication are deeply appreciated.
Though Taylor is no longer with us, the memories he leaves behind, his many interests, and the time shared with those who loved him will continue to live on.
He will be remembered saying, “All is well with my soul.”
May he rest in peace.
