Tanya Frazier

Tanya Melissa Mounce Frazier, 59, of Archdale, passed away Friday, October 16, 2026, at her home.

Born May 29, 1967, in Guilford County to the late Gary Garvin Mounce and Jean Peggy Chandler. Tanya was full of life and enjoyed roller skating and dancing in her younger years. Most of all, she loved her family and spending time with her husband, children and grandchildren. She was always supportive of her children’s activities including cheerleading, and football, and continued this with her grandchildren. She liked going to the beach and mountains. Tanya worked for 17 years at Walmart before working with her family business for 7 years.

She is survived by her husband, Scott Frazier, with whom they enjoyed 40 years of marriage; sons, Kris Frazier and wife Ayla of Archdale and Josh Frazier and wife Leslie of Wilmington; daughters, Rebekka Frazier and Rachael Mitchell and husband Robert of Archdale; grandchildren, Oaklen, Lily, Ella Grace, McKinlee, Kace and Violette; and her mother, Jean Chandler.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her brother, Garry Mounce.

A gathering of family and friends will be from 5:00 PM until 6:30 PM Tuesday, October 20, 2026, in the Archdale Chapel of Wright Funerals-Cremations.
