Tamara Talbot

Tamara Lynn Atwell Talbot, 67, of High Point, passed away Wednesday, June 3, 2026, at her home after a courageous battle with cancer.

Born August 15, 1958, in Kewanee, IL; she was a daughter to the late Maurice Atwell and the late Doris Jean Adams Atwell.

Those left to cherish her memory, her beloved husband, Charles Talbot whom she married December 15, 1977; son, Adam Talbot and wife Sally of Bettendorf, IA; daughters, Katie Holbert and husband Todd of Oak Ridge, and Kassie Whitaker of Burlington, NC; grandchildren, Hailee Talbot, Greta Talbot, Caroline Talbot, Kinley Holbert, Leela Holbert, and Gabriel Oberg. She was also survived by her brothers, Calvin Atwell (Kris), Kenneth Atwell (Colleen), Maurice Atwell (Julie), and Timothy Atwell (Glenda); sisters, Christine Hochstatter and Noreen White; and a host of nieces and nephews and her friends from “Easy Street”.

There will be two Celebration of Life services and will be scheduled in the coming days.
