Sylvia Rae (Jones) Brown

Sylvia Rae Jones Brown, 69, of Thomasville, passed away Saturday, January 13, 2024, at her home.

Born November 27, 1954, in Marion, SC, she was a daughter of the late Hubert Jones and the late Magaline Rae Jones.

Sylvia is survived by her daughters, Teresa Wright of Ash, and Heather Staley of Thomasville; brothers, H.L. Jones of Thomasville, and Richard Jones of Thomasville; sisters, Azlie Clark of High Point, Johnnie Smith and husband Ronald of Holden Beach, and Jackie Senter and husband Jimmy of Nakina; and grandchildren, Alexis Staley, Alyssa Staley, Ayden Staley, Austin Staley, Alex Blackwell, and Brylee Blackwell.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Larry Jones, sisters, Sara Pilson, and Marilyn Jones.

Services will be conducted at 2:00 PM Saturday, January 27, 2024, at Potter's Clay Baptist Church, 3001 W. English Rd, High Point, NC.
