Susan Acier (Stevenson) Mitchell

Susan Mitchell of Denton, N.C. died Feb. 8th, 2023.  She was 77 years old.  Born January 21, 1946 in Rochester, N.Y., she lived the first half of her life in California.  There she raised 2 boys; Benjamin Mitchell & Joshua Mitchell.  In 1983, she followed her mother Virginia Stevenson to Denton, North Carolina where she would make that her permanent home.  Sue was a devout Christian and attended several area churches and was known for wearing colorful hats.  She was an avid reader and could easily consume 3 or more books a week.  She moved to Mountain Vista Health Park in 2016 and was active with art & social activities.

Susan is survived by her brother Peter Stevenson & wife Fran Stevenson.  Son Benjamin Mitchell, Joshua Mitchell & wife Erin Mitchell.  Grandchildren Abbie & Billy Mitchell
