Steven William Soots

Steven “Steve” William Soots, 71, of Lexington, passed away Sunday, January 19, 2025, at the Thomasville Medical Center.

He was born December 9, 1953, in High Point, to the late Sanford Soots and to the late Irene Southern Soots. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, David Scott Harris, and his brothers, Roger Wayne Soots and Jerry Soots.

He was of the Baptist faith and was a former member of Brentwood Baptist Church in High Point.

Left to cherish his memory is his beloved wife, Kay Soots, whom he married February 10, 1978, along with several cousins.

Funeral service will be 2:00PM Thursday, January 23, 2025, in the Wright Funerals-Cremations, High Point Chapel with James McCall officiating.

The family will receive friends 1:00-1:45PM prior to the service.

Burial to follow in the Floral Garden Memorial Park Cemetery.
