John Steven Curry, 59, of Thomasville, passed away Thursday, January 18, 2018, at High Point Regional Hospital after a short battle with idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis.

Born March 15, 1958, in Davidson County, he was a son of John Robert Curry and Billie Moore Curry of Lexington. Mr. Curry was a techincal sales representative with Axalta/Valspar for thirty years. He enjoyed riding his Road King Harley, being actively involved and building sets for the Lexington Youth Theater as well as serving on various committees at Holly Grove Lutheran Church where he was a member. Steve loved his family and his greatest joy was family travels to Disney and fun times with friends, camping out at Big Ben, TX.  He was a loving soul who adored his wife, girls and grand daughter Snow.  He was loved by all that knew him and truly exemplified a wonderful dad, friend, and spouse.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife of twenty-one years, Andi Miller Curry of the home; daughters, Alex Lackey and fiancé Corey White, and Samm Curry all of Thomasville; sister, Christy Curry Flynt of High Point; granddaughter, Snow White; niece, Madi Flynt and nephew Jack Flynt.

Memorial services will be conducted at 3:00 PM Sunday, January 21, 2018, at Holly Grove Lutheran Church with Rev. Matthew Smith officiating. Inurnment will follow in the church columbarium.

The family will receive friends from 1:45 PM until 2:45 PM Sunday prior to the service at the church.
