Stella Reed Wardell, 59, of Trinity, passed away Tuesday, November 29, 2016 at Hospice Home at High Point.

Born May 27, 1957 in Youngstown of Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Charles Reed and the late Joetta Presley Reed.  Mrs. Reed was a cake decorator.

She is survived by her husband, David Wardell of the home; son, Chris Cornwell of Boardman, OH; daughter, Jessica Shorts and husband Tony of Clarion, PA; brothers, Burton Reed of Trinity, Glenn Reed and wife Beth of Hubbard, OH and Joe Reed and wife Charlotte of Daytona, FL; sister Ida Reed Lewis and husband Pee Wee of New Bern; grandchildren, Jacob Cooper, Amanda Wardell, Jaden Shorts and Max Shorts.

Services will be held at 3:00 PM Sunday, December 18, 2016 at Trindale Baptist Church with Rev. Tony Moore officiating. The family will receive friends following the service.
