Stanley Harold Herron

Stanley Harold Herron, 76, of Sophia, passed away Saturday, June 17, 2023, at Randolph Hospice House.

Born January 4, 1947, in McDowell County, WV, the son of the late Harold Edward Herron and the late Bertha Stewart Herron.  He was a U S Army Veteran and of Pentecostal faith.

He is survived by his wife, Barbara Laxton Herron of the home; a son, Eddie Herron and wife, Gayle; grandchildren, Nicholas Herron, Katie Grace Herron,TJ Elswick and Carley Carter; his buddy and cousin, Gary Mullins; special friends, Danny and Sharon Coals; and beloved caregiver, Heather Atkins.

The family would like extend a special thanks to P & J’s Diner for all the delicious meals you provided.

Graveside services will be conducted at 10:00 AM Friday, June 30, 2023, at Salisbury National Cemetery.
