Sonya Rae (Williams) Miller

Sonya Miller, loving wife of Mark Miller and devoted mother of Miles, entered Heaven, Saturday June 1st after a brief illness.

She is survived by her father, Jim Williams and mother Ann Coltrane; stepmother Barbara Williams; sisters, Cheryl Adams and husband Jerry, Debra Ingold and husband Dale, Evonne Keller and husband Rod, Angie Smith, Carrie Abour and Sonya’s twin- Sandra Malpass and husband Brad; brother, Greg Lewis and wife Tammy.  She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews who absolutely adored her.

Sonya’s husband, Mark, said “she was a wonderful wife and a beautiful woman: beautiful from the inside out.” And son Miles stated, she was the best mom ever and had done so much for him and he would live his life to make her proud.  Sonya was blessed with an impromptu, early graduation celebration at High Point Hospital for her son Miles, which was her final and greatest wish.

Sonya loved her life – every single simple moment of shared activities with her “boys” and her loving and devoted dog, Lincoln.  Sonya was an on hands, totally involved, mother, sister and daughter.  She was all supportive and uplifting to her wonderful extended family of friends, fulfilling Proverbs 17:17, “a friend loves at all times.”

Everyone got the Sonya “touch”: kind, compassionate and her uniquely funny sense of humor that was only “hers”.  Sonya’s sisters, brother, and all who knew and loved her will miss her strength as well as her being a truthful, loving, loyal, forgiving and most precious friend.   She so loved and enjoyed her life and was so loved in return.  Sonya will be greatly missed by a large circle of loved ones.

Family will receive visitors  from 12:00p.m. - 1:00p.m on June 5th at the Chapel of Community Outreach of Archdale Trinity, 10607 N. Main Street, Archdale.  The Funeral service will be Wednesday, June 5th at 1:00p.m at the Chapel of Community Outreach of Archdale Trinity.  Graveside service will follow at Guil-Rand Memorial Park Cemetery,  1550 NC Highway 62 West, High Point.
