Shirley (Everett) Shore

Shirley Everett Chesson Shore, 87, of Trinity, passed away Tuesday, September 20, 2022, at Graybrier Nursing and Rehab.

Born February 10, 1935, in Martin County, she was a daughter of the late Bruce Everett and the late Nancy Taylor Everett. Shirley was a homemaker and a member of Joy Community Fellowship Church.

She is survived by her son, Mike Chesson and wife Christy of Trinity; sister, Betty Lou Pollard and husband Sammy of Greenville; grandchildren, Tyler Jones, Caitlyn Setzer and husband Davey, and Kyle Chesson; great-grandchildren, Daxton Setzer, Grayson Setzer, and Ella Setzer.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Hubert Chesson, and Charles Shore; son, Butch Chesson; daughters, Luanne Jones, and Nan Chesson; and grandson, Dillon Chesson.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM Friday, September 23, 2022, in the chapel of Wright Funerals-Cremations, High Point. Burial will follow in Guilford Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until 1:45 PM Friday prior to the service.
