Shirley Mae Shelar Hardee, 77, of Thomasville, passed away Saturday, March 4, 2017, at Pine Ridge Health and Rehab.
Born April 18, 1939, in Mineral Springs, she was a daughter of the late Randil Shelar and the late Irene Wilson Shelar. Mrs. Hardee was a retired quality inspector for V&E Components and was of the Baptist faith. She loved her entire family and her favorite hobby was fishing.
She is survived by her children, Alma Hill and husband Andrew, Bruce Wilson and wife Kristie, Clark Wilson, Donna Wood and husband JR, and Scott Beck and wife Rachel; brother, Tommy Shelar; sisters, Betty Mabe, Ann Lowe and Gail McMahan; eight grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her three husbands, Samuel Wilson, Jimmy Beck and Doug Hardee; and sister, Marie Whitman.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM Wednesday, March 8, 2017, in the Gathering Room of Wright Cremation & Funeral Service in High Point. Burial will follow at 2:30 PM at Westfield Friends Meeting Cemetery in Pilot Mountain.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 7:30 PM Tuesday at the funeral home.
