Shirley Bare Hunt, 77, of Archdale, passed away Friday, September 21, 2018, at the home of her daughter in Thomasville.

Born November 12, 1940, in Ashe County, she was a daughter of the late Ernest E. Bare and the late Virginia Osborne. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by the father of her children, James Hunt; and a grandson, Christopher Hunt.

She is survived by her son, Jimmy Hunt and fiancé Misty Crouse of Archdale; daughters, Debbie Hobgood of Florida, Denise Hunt of Thomasville, Sabrina Hunt of King, and Rachel Willard and husband Roy of Randleman; brothers, Roger Bare and wife Seline of Virginia, and William Osborne and wife Debbie of Thomasville; sister, Brenda Taylor and husband Jerry of Rural Hall; nine grandchildren; and twenty great-grandchildren.

Memorial services will be conducted at 2:00 PM Monday, September 24, 2018, in the Gathering Room of Wright Cremation & Funeral Service.
