Ms. Turbyfill was born in Iredell County, May 18, 1949, to the late S.L. Huffman and Violet "Red" Barnhardt Huffman.

Ms. Turbyfill is survived by husband Terry; her two sons, Bradley (Robert) Smith of High Point, and Eric (Kelly) Smith of Winston Salem; grandson, Landon Smith of Mocksville; nephew Mark (Judy) Earnhardt of Salisbury; niece Melissa Earnhardt (Michael) Murray of Mebane; four great nephews: Jonathan James; Zachary, Nathan, and Jacob Earnhardt; great niece Chelsea Earnhardt; and a great-great nephew Fen-Ris.

Graveside service for sisters Joan and Shirley Huffman. Friday, April 7th at 11am. Glenwood Memorial Park, 273 Glenwood Dr., Mooresville, NC 28115
