Shirley Glascoe Hedrick, 81, of High Point, passed away Saturday, May 5, 2018, at her home.

Born July 9, 1936, in Forsyth County, she was a daughter of the late Clyde Glascoe and the late Myrtle Hendrix Glascoe. She worked thirty years in the cafeteria at Westchester Country Day School and was a member of Pilot View Baptist Church. Mrs. Hedrick was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, friend, and a loyal servant to the Lord.

She is survived by the love of her life of sixty-three years, William Arthur “Billy” Hedrick of the home, daughters, Melody Hedrick Lambeth, Karen Fincher and husband Paul, and Lisa Goodman; granddaughters, Kathryn Fincher, Madison Goodman, Jamie Duvall and husband Travis; great-grandchildren, Adalyn and Eli Duvall.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her grandson, Dustin Orr.

Services will be conducted at 6:00 PM Tuesday, May 8, 2018, at Pilot View Baptist Church with Rev. Robert Summers officiating. Entombment will be private at Floral Garden Park.

The family will receive friends following the service at the church.
