Shirley Clark Harrison

Shirley Clark Harrison, 82, of High Point, passed away on December 24, 2020 at Wake Forest Medical Center of High Point.

Shirley was born in Bennettsville, SC to Mannie Clark on August 3, 1938. She enjoyed fishing, gardening, and sitting on her porch when time would allow. She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. You could always hear her laughter and see a big smile on her face. For over ten years Shirley faithfully attended House of Deliverance in Bennettsville, SC, serving as mother of the church. After moving to High Point, NC she joined Community Deliverance Holiness Church, still fulfilling her calling as a missionary by encouraging, motivating people, and witnessing to them, just how good God is.

Shirley is preceded in death by her husband Thomas Harrison and her mother Mannie Clark.

Shirley is survived by her daughters Annie Ruth Malry, Patricia A. Harrison, Gloria Harrison, and Mary Harrison, her sons Thomas Harrison wife Doreen, Richard Harrison, and Robert Harrison wife Linda, her grandchildren LaKeisha, Shananeet, David, Jonathan wife Amanda, Lorraine, Jimmy wife Linnelle, Monique, Laporcia, her great grandchildren Keshanna, Nautica, Melissa, Sharetta, Dj, Nakia, LuKas, Elijah, Jayda, Makenzie, Trinity, Josiah, Pamela, Kyesha, Jakella, and QuaDarius, her great great grandchildren Jeremiah, Majesty, Areola, and Alani, her special cousins Ella Covington, Jenny Rogers, and Janie Jackson, her sisters in law Gloria Ellerbe and Helen Harrison, she also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A visitation will be held at 1:30pm January 2, 2021 followed by the funeral service at 2pm at Archdale Assembly of God located at 4405 Archdale Road, Archdale, NC 27263. Burial will follow at Guil-Rand Memorial Park located at 1550 Hwy 62 West, High Point, NC 27263. Pastor Angeline Sumpter will be officiating.
