Shelia Reaves Allred, 65, of Archdale, passed away Saturday, June 22, 2019, at High Point Medical Center.

Born December 19, 1953, in Randolph County, she was a daughter of the late Joseph Bryant Reaves and the late Virginia Dare Jones Strickland. She was a retired sewer with Caraway Upholstery.

Mrs. Allred is survived by her husband of fifty years, James Lee Allred of the home; son, Christopher Allred (Cindy McMahan) of Archdale; brother, Tim Strickland (Sandy Skeen-Beck) of Thomasville; sisters, Julie Potts of Trinity, and Lisa Gaskins of Roanoke; nephew, Aaron Potts; and niece Hillary Gaskins.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Russ Allred.

A gathering of family and friends will be held from 2:00 PM until 3:30 PM Saturday, June 29, 2019, at Wright Funerals-Cremations.
