Sharla Jeane (Hoover) Matias

Sharla Jeane Hoover Matias, 49, passed away Sunday, December 22, 2024, unexpectedly at her home.

She was born February 28, 1975, in Wichita, KS to Larry and Deanna K. Hoover.

Sharla married Kevin Matias on June 11, 1994, in Wichita, Kansas. She loved her family and pets. She was proud of her two children, Nathan and Amber, and their military career in the United States Army. She was known for her quirky sense of humor and her vibrant laughter. She maintained many lifelong, close, friendships even after moving to North Carolina.

Left to cherish her memory; her husband, Kevin Matias of the home; son, Nathan Matias and wife Olivia of Fairhope, AL; daughter, Amber Matias of Winston Salem; brothers, Curtis Hoover and wife Janet of Wichita, KS, and Jeramie Hoover and wife Paige of Goddard, KS.

Memorial Service will be 3:00PM Friday, December 27, 2024, in the sanctuary of Triad Church; 705 Sunshine Way, Greensboro, NC.

The family will receive friends following the service.
