Scott Wrenn Hedgecock

Scott Wrenn Hedgecock, 54, of Trinity, passed away on June 5, 2019 at his home.

Scott was born in High Point, NC to Sanford Hedgecock and Alpha Allred Hedgecock on December 11, 1964.  He went to school at Ragsdale High School located in Jamestown, NC.  He married Samantha Coltrane on September 25, 1999 at their home in Trinity.  He worked as a Cars Salesman for himself for over ten years. He was a veteran and served in the Army & National Guard. He was also a faithful servant in his church for the last ten years. Scott left this world way to soon, but his memories will forever live on through his family and friends.

Scott is preceded in death by his mother Alpha Hedgecock and his father Sanford Hedgecock, brother Sanford Jr.

Scott is survived by his wife Samantha, daughters Staley, Sidney, Shelby, and Sofia, son Styles, Sidney and Styles are following their  father’s footsteps and joining the Army, sisters Penny husband David, Sandra husband Mark, brothers Harlen wife Sharon, Billy wife Debbie, and James, grandchild Braelynn Johnson. Scott also leaves behind many Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, and Nephews.

The family will be receiving visitors from 4:30pm – 6:00pm on June 13, 2019. A Funeral service will directly follow the visitation starting at 6pm. The Visitation and Funeral Service will be held at Hope Baptist Church located at 4872 Old Edgar Rd, Sophia, NC 27350. Pastor Steve McSwain will be officiating.
