Sandra Lee Woodie Parker, 73, of Wallburg, went to Heaven Sunday, March 12, 2017, from Hospice Home at High Point.

Born December 8, 1943, in Durham, she was a daughter of the late Randall James Woodie and the late Iva Lee Johnson Woodie. Mrs. Parker formerly worked with Dr. Hampton Chiles for many years and retired from Bethany Medical Center. Mrs. Parker attended Faith Church.

She is survived by her husband of fifty-three years, Johnny Arvin Parker of the home; daughter, Ashley Hinkle and husband Lee of High Rock Lake; and one grandson, John Hinkle.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM Wednesday, March 15, 2017, in Hilliard Memorial Baptist Church with Rev. Roy Green and Rev. Mike Gates officiating. Burial will follow in Floral Garden Park.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until 1:45 PM prior to the service at the church.
