Sandra Queen Raleigh, 61, of Trinity, passed away Tuesday, January 3, 2017 at Hinkle Hospice House.

Born April 7, 1955 in Statesville, she was a daughter of Henry Queen and the late Lilly Taylor Moore. Sandy was always devoted to her children and grandchildren.

In addition to her father, she is survived by her longtime companion, Barry Newsom of the home; children, Monica Williamson and fiancé Shane Brisson of Trinity, Daniel Raleigh and fiancé Danielle Larkins of Thomasville and Ramona Welch of Asheville; brother, Dale Queen and wife Lisa of Trinity; grandchildren, Haley, Shane, Jr., B.J., Xavier, Daniel, Jr., and Mackenzie; and step-mother, Linda Queen

Memorial services will be conducted at 11:00 AM Friday, January 6, 2017 in the Gathering Room of Wright Cremation & Funeral Service.

The family will receive friends following the service.
