Sandra Jean (Jones) Yokley

Sandra Jean Jones Yokley, 83, of Thomasville, passed away Saturday, October 26, 2024, at her home.

Born February 17, 1941, in Guilford County, she was a daughter to the late Carl Boone Jones and the late Hazel Rivenbark Jones.

Sandra married Gary Yokley on December 20, 1957, and they spent 66 loving years together. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She loved to travel and after raising her 5 children, she went to work for American Airlines.

She is survived by her husband, Gary Yokley of the home; sons, Gary Yokley, Jr of Winston-Salem, Christopher Yokley (Tina) of Summerville, SC, Brian Yokley (Kelly) of Wallburg; daughters, Lisa Stubbs and Kimberly Yokley, both of Thomasville; grandchildren, Ryan, Justin, Jordan, Jacob, Alex, Matthew, Asher, Brianna, Peyton and Erin; great grandchildren, Alexis, Henry and Emily; nephew, Jerry Jones (Wendy); and niece, Julie Mesoros (Tim).

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Jerry Jones.

Celebration of Life services will be 6:00 PM Friday, November 1, 2024, in the Archdale chapel of Wright Funerals-Cremations.

The family will receive friends following the service.
