Samuel Edward Cochran, 74, of Thomasville, passed away Wednesday, March 7, 2018, at Hinkle Hospice House.

Born March 6, 1944, he was a son of the late Paul Ernest Cochran and the late Hattie Frances Moore Cochran. Mr. Cochran retired from Harris Teeter.

He is survived by his first wife, the mother of his children, Patsy Ann Wheeler of High Point, his second wife, Diane Hubbard Cochran of Kernersville; children, Samuel Edward Cochran, II of Thomasville, Tammy Sue Cochran Davis of High Point; brother, James “Bug” Cochran and wife Shirley of Martinsville, VA; sisters, Naomi “Onnie” Krishock and husband, Robert of Sterling, VA, Kathy Shafer and husband Greg of Princeton, WV, and Evelyn Ragan of Bluefield, WV; grandchildren, Benjamin Davis, Brian Keith Cochran, and Alexis J. Buckner.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Keith Edward Cochran; sisters, Mary Sue Richardson, and Mick Cochran; brother, Paul “Dink” Cochran; and grandson, Robert L. Davis.

Services will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, March 24, 2018, at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Bluefield, WV.
