Samuel Thomas Blackwell, Jr.

Samuel Thomas Blackwell, Jr., 57, of High Point, passed away Friday, November 6, 2020, in Archdale.

Born June 20, 1963, in Guilford County, he was a son of the late Samuel Thomas Blackwell, Sr. and the late Sarah Juanita Lambeth Blackwell. Sammy was a vinyl siding and window installer. He enjoyed restoring classic cars, attending car shows, and racing remote-controlled cars.

Sammy is survived by his son, Samuel Blackwell, III and wife Anna of Archdale; daughter, Brandi Clark of High Point; sisters, Teresa Williams and husband Kerry of Trinity, and Cynthia Hucks and husband Harold of Gainesville, Georgia; grandchildren, Cammie Blackwell, Casen Clark, and Montgomery Blackwell; one niece and three nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Terry Blackwell.

Memorial services will be conducted at 2:00 PM Saturday, November 14, 2020, in the chapel of Wright Funerals-Cremations.

The family will receive friends following the service.
