Sallie Jo (Roebuck) Morgan

Sallie Jo Roebuck Morgan, 77, of High Point, passed away peacefully Friday, June 27, 2025, at the Randolph Hospice House.

Born November 3, 1947, in Robersonville, NC, she was a daughter of the late Samuel Harcum Roebuck and the late Selma James Roebuck. Sallie was proceeded in death by her brothers, Samuel Ashley Roebuck, Sr. and Mack Roebuck, Sr.; and her sister, Kathryn Roebuck Hardee. Sallie was born on a farm in Robersonville, NC where she learned the ethics of hard work.

Sallie graduated from Hardbarger Junior College of Business in Raleigh, NC. This degree served her well as she held various administrative positions for many different companies over the years. In her most recent full-time position, Sallie served as the office manager for AC Corporation of Greensboro.

Sallie was a member of a Sunday School Class at Rich Fork Church. There, she had many friends and was involved in various activities.

Sallie was a collector of many things. She loved to read; thus, had a huge collection of books. Sallie collected clowns, dolls, lighted village houses, various golf items, and many cardinal (red bird) items. Often at Christmas, she would decorate two to three Christmas trees in different themes. Sallie was also a sports enthusiast. She watched sports of almost any kind and knew the statistics of numerous teams.

She is survived by nephews, Mack Roebuck, Greg Roebuck, and Sammy Roebuck (Lisa); niece, Joan Roebuck Stutts and long time friend and caregiver Erica Longley.

Services will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, August 2, 2025, in the High Point chapel of Wright Funerals-Cremations.

The family will visit with friends following the service.
