Sallie Lorraine (James) Ritter

Sallie Lorraine James Ritter, 82, of Kernersville, passed away Friday, February 7, 2025, at High Point Medical Center.

Born March 1, 1942, in Wilmington, North Carolina, she was the daughter of the late Howard James and the late Geneva Bourdeaux James.  Sallie was an office manager in the nursing care industry.  She loved watching old movies on TCM and especially spending time with her family and friends.

She is survived by daughter, Marianne Field (Chris) of New York; sons, Donald T. Ritter, II (JaLynne) of Kernersville and Matthew Ritter of Albermarle; grandchildren, Molly Field, Hannah Field, Clare Ritter, Kyle McMakin, Grant McMakin, and Jason Ellington; great grandchildren, Sophia Nobles and Vivienne Nobles.

In addition to her parents, he was preceded in death by her husband, Donald T. Ritter, Sr.

Graveside service will be conducted at 11:00 AM Saturday, March 22, 2025, at Saint James Catholic Church Cemetery, 2323 Gold Hill Road, Concord, NC  28025, with Father Fitzgibbons.
